Welcome to our Publishing House!
The work «Bridging Philosophy and Cosmology» consists of two volumes: «Bridging Philosophy and Cosmology I: Matter-Energy and Space-Time As a Consequence of an Anomalous Phenomenon in the Meta-Universe: An Ontological Approach in Its Relationship to the Theory of Everything (ToE)» and «Bridging Philosophy and Cosmology II: Time as a Paradigm of the Essence and Origin of the Universe: A Philosophical and Scientific Inquiry in the Context of the Latest Cosmological Theories.» A profound ontological research has been carried out at the interface between traditional philosophy and contemporary physical cosmology. Through a rigorous interdisciplinary dialogue, the main conceptions about the fundamental constituents of reality have been analyzed, both throughout the history of thought and in the most recent scientific discoveries. As the culmination of this inquiry, volume I proposes a bold construct where matter-energy and space-time would not be primordial but emerging manifestations of a (possibly anomalous) phenomenon that occurred in an underlying meta-universe, having explored connections with thermodynamics (entropy), quantum mechanics and the possibility of a Theory of Everything (ToE). It suggests that our perception of the cosmos, marked by the arrow of time, could be a ‘sub-universe’ generated by this event. Complementarily, volume II focuses on time as an essential paradigm of the universe, analyzing its relative nature, intrinsic connection with space, and possible non-existence in extreme conditions (for example, black hole singularities). It delves into cutting-edge cosmological hypotheses (such as the Einstein-Rosen bridges or M-theory) to contemplate the paradox and the profound mystery that would be involved in the emergence of time from conditions where, conceptually, it would not exist, reinforcing the idea of a multidimensional reality that is much more complex than what we perceive directly. In short, the work as a whole aims to challenge our conceptual foundations, suggesting that the observable universe and its laws could be the consequence of deeper processes rooted in a meta-reality. It should be added that every effort has been made to make the complex terminology of these fields of knowledge as accessible as possible – without ever losing its rigor, using the explanation of each concept as a strategy – so that the reader will even be able to access each volume independently, if they so wish, the main characteristic of each contribution being, of course, an intense dialogue between philosophy and science.
